What An Eventful Week… Okay, Maybe Not. But Never Mind, Here’s Another Anagram Sunday!

“Fight Against Stupidity And Bureaucracy”

 .

What an eventful week… well that’s what I had planned to say if Romney had won the election. As it turns out, he didn’t, Obama’s back in and things are much the same as they were.

Oh, except for one minor detail, Obama won’t ever have to fight another Presidential election so he can get on with whatever he wants to do and not be too bothered who it upsets. So cut costs at the bottom and increase taxes at the top and squeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzeeeeeeeeeeee!

Meantime here are some more of those word puzzles called anagrams.

  1. Methinks I smell a preference for Kirk over Picard! No worries, you’ve got a classic (or TOS, in fanspeak) fan here. Though there were some darn fine TNG eps – I would personally recommend “The Wounded”, especially today.

    • Actually I am a big fan of both the original Star Trek and TNG, and I also like Voyager. Never could get into DS9 or the one with the Quantum Leap guy just as much.
How are you on Stargate and it’s spin-offs?

      • How could anyone get into DS9? No red alerts! No away teams! No one’s lost! No exploration! And too many Ferengis? Or is it Ferengi? Janeway and Voyager rock, btw! Though Chakotay is a little to ‘spiritual’ for my tastes. Voyager: The Delta Quadrant, The Doctor, The Borg, Seven of Nine, Q, and very Ferengi-lite.

    • Loved early seasons of SG-1, lost interest when “Farscape guy” took over (yes, Ben Browder, loved “Farscape” by the way). Never got into the other ones. I always preferred the “what-if” style scenarios, but didn’t get into the “soap opera” story arcs.
DS-9 was pretty good. Babylon 5 was FAR better. And who couldn’t love Jerry Doyle’s “Garibaldi” and his fascination with Daffy Duck? And of course, Claudia “Susan Ivanova” Christian? “No boom … today. Boom tomorrow. There’s ALWAYS a boom tomorrow.” 😀
