  1. 5. Before that gun powder was used for tooth extractions.
    6. Hawaii. It’s only water, the same as Ohio from Kentucky.
    8. I support a congress of owls, although it seems as if congress takes more time sqabbling and taking bribes.
    9. What about Quba?

    • Interesting answers.
Don’t fancy the gun powder cure and be careful about the width of water otherwise you’ll be British again and there ain’t too many George Washingtons around to help nowadays.
Congress, Parliament, Assembly, doesn’t matter what you call it the result seems to be the same.
And as for Quba, in a few more years, well, maybe 🙂

  2. Not bad, I got 9 out of 15. But just a question on the #. Why is it an OCTOthorpe, when it is made of 4 lines and encloses or partially encloses 9 spaces? 😉

    • Hmmmm, because it has 8 points sticking out perhaps, but probably because whoever it was thought it was a cool name. As for the thorpe bit, who knows???
