“Fight Against Stupidity And Bureaucracy”
.
Like this time last week this is a test that isn’t a test. Just a series of questions that will hopefully make you think and make you smile. Although you don’t hear them asked very often, if at all, some of the questions are quite reasonable.
If you find you can answer any or all of them, then well done.
As usual, enjoy.
Why does a round pizza come in a square box?
What disease did cured ham actually have?
How is it that we put man on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to put wheels on luggage?
Why is it that people say they ‘slept like a baby’ when babies wake up like every two hours?
If a deaf person has to go to court, is it still called a hearing?
Why are you ‘IN’ a movie, but you’re ‘ON’ TV?
Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?
Why do doctors leave the room while you change? They’re going to see you naked anyway.
Why is ‘bra’ singular and ‘panties’ plural?
Why do toasters always have a setting that burns the toast to a horrible crisp, which no decent human being would eat?
If Jimmy cracks corn and no one cares, why is there a stupid song about him?
Can a hearse carrying a corpse drive in the carpool lane ?
If the professor on Gilligan’s Island can make a radio out of a coconut, why can’t he fix a hole in a boat?
Why does Goofy stand erect while Pluto remains on all fours? They’re both dogs!
If Wile E. Coyote had enough money to buy all that ACME stuff, why didn’t he just buy dinner?
If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?
Why do they call it an asteroid when it’s outside the hemisphere, but call it a hemorrhoid when it’s in your ass?
Did you ever notice that when you blow in a dog’s face, he gets mad at you, but when you take him for a car ride, he sticks his head out the window?
Do the ‘Alphabet song’ and ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star’ have the same tune?
Why did you just try singing the two songs above?
===============================
Morons?
Hmmm. Do you think some have crept in from yesterday?
Many of these have quite simple answers. For example; Goofy wears clothes and Pluto does not. So yeah, Goofy walks on two legs….
See? Simple!
Thanks. Another great mystery solved.
What about Snoopy though?
Snoopy? Well, wasn’t he a writer, yes? I’m pretty sure I remember him on top his house with a typewriter. Writers are always exceptions. 😉
Excellent answer!!!!
Very good questions!
Yes, this selection is pretty good. I often wondered about Jimmy and all that corn cracking business.
damn you got me with the two songs…i couldn’t stop laughing at the asteroid one! good questions…
LOL I dare say some hemorrhoids feel like their the size of asteroids.
So is it the same tune?
ahaha! they might as well be!
i think it is the same tune! lol
LOL Thank you.
My goodness, you DO have a lot of time on your hands, don’t you?
The movie/TV one is simple. The huge screen at a cinema puts you IN the action, while the early TVs required you to practically sit on top of the dang things just to see what was going on! 😀
No, the corpse doesn’t count for the carpool lane, at least not in California. Don’t ask how I know, just accept it. 😉
And as to Wile E not buying lunch? The thrill of the chase!
Good answers! And I won’t ask.
you had me with the songs!
excellent read!
Yes, it’s hard not to try the songs. Thanks for commenting.
