“Fight Against Stupidity And Bureaucracy”
I received a surprising message the other day that I had been nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award by Alex Autin of http://alexautindotcom.wordpress.com
Obviously I was of delighted to receive the nomination, but surprised at the same time because I haven’t been blogging for very long and because until I received the nomination I have to confess that I didn’t know such a thing even existed.
Before I go on, let me thank Alex very much for the nomination, and also take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been following my blog, those how have been reading it and those who have taken the time to either hit the ‘like’ button and/or comment. Your support is very welcome and very much appreciated.
The rules are that, whilst there is no obligation to do so, it is nice to reciprocate by nominating other bloggers that you think are worthy of such an award and provide a few random facts about yourself to the person who nominated you.
The original number was 15, but this is a bit much, especially for a novice blogger like myself, so I’m with Alex in trimming the number back a bit.
As for blogs that I would nominate I’d have to say Alex’s …..things I like is excellent and well worth a read. Whether you’re supposed to nominate the person who nominated you or not I don’t know, I suppose they already have the award, but visit the blog anyway, there’s some great stuff on there!
Others that I follow and that would be worthy of a nomination would be
For those who appreciate great photography this site has some fantastic shots that you can just look at and/or read a bit more information about too. Well worth a look. You won’t be disappointed.

Another new to blogging blogger, but writes from the heart and has some though provoking material on her blog.

I do a lot of travelling so this site has an appeal for me. It’s a mixture of information and some humor, which is always good.
And finally Alex here are my random facts….
- I have a gift for seeing the amusing side of most situations, even quite serious ones, but the curse of opening my mouth and saying something funny at entirely the wrong time (which has got me into a lot of bother over the years!)
- I learned to ride a bicycle in a dream – yeah, really, in a dream – maybe I’ll blog about that.
- And my father dropped me on my head when I was a baby (Ah ha! Yes, yes, I can hear you, very funny!)
- Oh and I’ve just thought of another one, and how’s this for a random fact, I don’t like hideous wallpaper – and I mean I REALLY don’t like it – you know the kind of thing, the sort your old maiden aunt Bessie had plastered on her living room
Well, they’re here to put me to bed now, so let’s see what happens tomorrow. How DO they get those uniforms so white???
Well done! I have a great admiration for those who can see the humorous side of things. 🙂
I’m looking forward to checking out your nominees!!

Hi Fasab,
Thanks for the nomination. I appreciate all of the support. I have only been blogging since february, but I have gotten so much out of it. Pouring my heart out on a blog was definitely a scary process at first. Having such great supporters like you has made this experience amazing!
Thanks again,
Wendy

[…] Versatile Blogger Award. Actually that should be ‘awards’ the first nomination from Alex way back when this blog was barely two months old, and subsequently from Sunny and Wendy. The Fasab blog has also been nominated for the Illuminating Blogger Award (Kenton), Sunshine Award (Wendy again) and the Kreative Blogger Award (Nabdip). My sincere thanks to everyone who though this blog worthy of nomination and I will get round to doing a proper awards page I promise. […]
